THE EXCEPTIONAL AND THE INUTILE

Every year we are treated to an eclectic array of films ranging from riveting masterpieces to the tawdry dregs at the bottom of the barrel.

In the early weeks of January I like to sit down and work through the best and worst so listed below are a few simple summaries of the high and low points of the year.

Please note, the films listed are the best films available in the UK in that year. Simply put, only films released (as opposed to filmed) in said year qualify. In addition to this, each page contains a link to the year's notable individuals: similarly to the SAFA this is a group of four individuals who have proved themselves over the year in one or many projects. This list is comprised of Director, Actor, Actress and Rising Talent. Enjoy kiddies.
